Tchaikovsky Hostel (T-hostel)

I am Steven a hostel owner living in Croatia. I was backpacking throughout Europe before I decided to live here in Split! I own a hostel here in the center of Split right next to the old town and Diocletian's palace built in the year 305! It's a small cozy hostel with only 20 beds so it is a very laid back and communal place. Here I try to maximize my guests experience by relating as much as I can about the history and activities available.

There is much to do and see in this area, first would be explore the old town first constructed in the year 305, there are many amazing examples of architecture dating back to the days of antiquity. There is an amazingly beautiful city park only 10 minutes by foot from the hostel that has all sorts of hiking trails, rock climbing, crossfit courses, and stellar views. There are 5 islands located just short ferry rides away that are amazing to go explore! There is so much more to see right here around Split! As far as what you could do with your free time it depends on what interests you! There are some nice places to grab a craft beer made just 50m away, or go out for a cocktail with some other expats living in the city. This area is amazing for hiking and any outdoors activities in general. The world is your oyster here in Split :D People tend to come here and get stuck here as it is such a nice city! This is for those who enjoy conversations with people from around the world, it is amazing to share stories with people from so many different walks of life! Of course there is also the ridiculous amount of history surrounding this area of the world, any history buffs would be in heaven. In summer the beaches and coastline are amazing for getting the true dalmatian cultural experience. For anyone wishing to travel to Split and stay a while this is a good spot to call your home base!
