If you like nature, stunning views and aren't someone who likes to stay in big cities - This is the place to be! Situated in the small town of Lisdoonvarna, The Burren Hostel is well located for exploring 'The Burren Geopark', the incredible 'Cliffs of Moher' and the west of 'County Clare', with its walking trails and surfing activities.

The Burren Hostel became home to me in just two weeks. Upon arrival the managers Sebastian and Donna welcomed me; their hospitality remained steadfast. This was my first time doing both Worldpackers and housekeeping, and while my first few shifts felt challenging, I got the hang of it quickly and felt that the staff and managers were always there to assist me. The schedule was always updated for us, and training was sufficient. Thank you for that! The area around the hostel is some of Ireland's best scenery, so do go out and enjoy it - Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren landscape, etc!

My experience at the Burren Hostel has been great. It's my first time working house keeping and they were patient and taught me well. Donna is very personable and Sebastian knows his stuff. They make a great team. The village is small and lovely. I like it here a lot, so much so I extended my stay.
