The Green Backpackers Hostel

Our hostel is a hiker-friendly, eco-sympathetic and just generally friendly base camp, run by experienced guides who love with the Negev desert, share this feeling and give advice every day.

We are situated right on the edge of the Ramon crater, surrounded by breathtaking views and plenty of hiking trails. Because of the high elevation of our town, the weather here is the best for hiking - all year round. Even in the summer town when the rest of Israel is too hot for anything.

We have nature, hiking, desert activities such as rappelling, jeep tours and star gazing tours, as well as a very interesting town with a very young and fun night life...

If you like nature, hiking, meeting new people and staying at places that are off the beaten track, than The Negev desert is for you.

We have a regular staff for the regular things so we don't accept you to do any real hard work, nor the regular cleaning.... We know that volunteers are the best for creating a good atmosphere and we understand that a happy volunteer is a happy hostel. So we do our best to make sure that everyone is happy and has everything they need. The Green Family is amazing and created by amazing people who love the desert and the hostel. They all care about the place and give their whole heart into it...
