Thank you for taking the time to visit our page. We are a back packers travel hostel and as you can imagine ( covid 19 ) impacted us dramatically. We are still trying to get over the impact that this has had on the hospitality industry.

We are a small bussiness within Liverpool, we work in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and we except guests from around the globe.

We pride our self in customer
satisfaction and had ratings of 9.7 and 9.3 respectively.

We love what we do and are always eager to accept people and accommodate them in any way we can.

If you are outgoing and feel you can contribute and have what it takes to work with us, why not drop us a line and talk to us. We are able to provide free accommodation in exchange for small duties. Our staff are treated with respect, and we really consider them to be part of the Hostel family. Our volunteers are treated all the same way. We expect volunteers to work hard and give us 100%, in order to give our guests the experience they deserve. We also play hard and try to make guests feel welcomed and volunteers appreciated and valued as part of the team.

Talking about my experience at Pod Liverpool is very easy, as it was certainly the best hostel I've ever had the opportunity to stay at, Tim and his family are very special and sweet and made me feel at home, Sally, the hostel mast, is very Dear, besides that I made friends that I will keep for life, Liverpool is an incredible city and there is a lot to do, I hope to return one day, big hug in everyone's hearts.

I had a great time at The Pod! Tim and his family are so caring and kind, always concerned about the well-being of both volunteers and guests. You can learn a lot about good hospitality and engaging with people from Tim by observing how he welcomes guests and makes them feel at home, which is truly admirable. As for the work, it involves welcoming guests, socializing, being friendly and helping with their needs. There’s also quite a bit of cleaning, but they always try to pair up volunteers to make it easier and faster. Plus, you have plenty of free time to explore Liverpool and nearby cities.

La experiencia no fue positiva para mi. La barrera del idioma dificulto mucho la comunicación y se generaron muchos malos entendidos.
No se cumplió con la habitación privada pese a que lo decía la publicación antes que lo cambie durante mi estadía.
Recomiendo respetar las tareas acordadas previamente y brindar un desayuno acorde al esfuerzo físico que se demanda.
No recomiendo esta experiencia a personas que tengan un nivel básico de ingles

It was my first time volunteering and I had an incredible experience here. Tim and his family make you feel very welcome at the hostel and will always make sure you are comfortable.
The work is light and you’re shown what to do. Communication is very important here, so you need to be comfortable speaking English. But the great thing about Liverpool is the people are very nice and very chatty, so it’s super easy to speak to people. I met some amazing people during my time here, that I will cherish forever.
If you want to visit the north west of England this is the perfect place to volunteer.

I spent a month here at the Liverpool Pod and really enjoyed my time. This was my first work for board experience and the beginning of my trip in the UK, and the hostel was a great starting place. Tim and Kate really care about the volunteers and well being of the hostel. Tim wants to ensure a great experience for us and the guests staying here. They’re very flexible with days off etc as well, which made exploring Liverpool and the surrounding areas less stressful in the planning. I highly recommend the Liverpool Pod as a place to volunteer at. (Also their dog Sally is such a sweetheart)
