We are a fun, multicultural and busy hostel located in the heart of the beautiful city of Lisbon. Our goal is to provide a lifetime experience not only to our guests but also to our staff.

this was my first time doing a volunteer experience. I didn't expect that four weeks could give me so much. I was lucky to meet a wonderful group of volunteers, and with the guys working in the hostel I really felt at home.

It's a welcome and chill atmosphere with the employees and volunteers. Everybody is friendly and respectful. It's a nice experience for new volunteers. First two or three days can be confusing, but afterwards you get everything. It's a great experience for meeting people and doing party. Thanks

Volunteering at the urban garden hostel was definitely a positive and interesting experience. I immediately felt at home: Ale, Kip, Kessya and Izzy are very kind and always ready to help you in any circumstance, and the working hours are always respected. The work is absolutely doable, even if sometimes making beds can be tiring, and it leaves a lot of time to visit Lisbon, which is beautiful, and its surroundings. I had fun, I saw beautiful places, met many people and learned a lot, I recommend everyone to try this experience. Thanks UGH!!!
