Urbany Hostel is located in Notting Hill, a short walk to see the beautiful Portobello Market and Hyde Park. We have plenty of bus stops into the party area of the city as well as 3 major tube/train lines only a 5 minute walk away. Lots of supermarkets, fast foods and shops located near us also! You cannot beat our location.
Our beautiful townhouse hostel was built in the 1800s; it is 4 stories/floors, with a large kitchen, outdoor terrace, lounge room and dining room. We have a work hard, play hard mentality; for those who enjoy the perfect balance between party, relax and work. Everyone at Urbany is welcoming, easy going and is like a family. We are are a hostel for backpackers/travellers, run by backpackers/travellers. As a sociable group; we like to interact, party and hang out with not only each other but with our guests. We are an open minded community, providing a safe and comfortable space. We are looking for vibrant, outgoing volunteers who will help us continue to be one of the best hostels in London.

Urbany Hostel is one of a kind! Leah and the rest of the team are absolutely incredible and honestly make the hostel feel like a home away from home!!
I never expected to fall in love with the place and the people as I have here at Urbany! The hostel is so central to everything you need, the work is exactly how Leah has mentioned and comes with so many more perks in your day to day activities.

If you give Leah a bit of your time she will go above and beyond to help you out! I am so glad I chose to come to Urbany and I 1000% recommend volunteering and becoming apart of the team! 🫢🏻

Urbany is a fantastic hostel to work at! It’s really like a big family. The environment is so welcoming and fun. All the volunteers are super social and committed to creating a great environment. The work is exactly what is posted and is totally doable. The culture is very work hard, play hard. The manager is super flexible, great at communicating, and a great leader of the team. I loved my time here! I’d really recommend it to anyone looking to explore London and create the best memories with other travelers:)

My experience at the Urbany Hostel was truly amazing!! Everybody is very welcoming, kind and fun! The work is simple, the hours are respected and especially the shifts for the activities with the guests are always super fun! The hostel is a very social place, always with a good vibe and great atmosphere! And of course also London itself is an incredible city!
A huge thank you to everybody who made my time in London so special and unforgettable!! <3

I loved my time at URBANY πŸ§‘β€πŸ³πŸ§‘β€πŸ³πŸ§‘β€πŸ³
Took me some time to find my flow but as soon as I did it was a home away from home. Everyone that’s there are absolute superstars. The hostel guests are mostly social and friendly which makes party shifts a dream, the other shifts are as explained prior to arrival. You have time to chill but also complete tasks properly and I really enjoyed my time there πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ.
