I started this project, named LanCul (Lanuage and Culture) for foreign travelers to meet Korean friends and learn Korean language and culture as well as Korean English learners to meet foreign friends and talk in English with them. Our community provides warm and lively space to Korean students and volunteers to interact each other. They meet and talk in English about a variety of topics, cultures and ideas. Foreign community members can also share their experience and information with other volunteers from all of the world. I am looking for volunteers for English conversation program and SNS marketing.

I really had the time of my life here. It was my first time travelling alone and doing something like this. I was welcomed immediately by the other volunteers. It’s a good location as well, not too crowded. The English cafe is very close to the dorm. There is a subway station 10 min away from the dorm so you can easily explore the rest of Busan as well. I would definitely recommend this place!

I had so much fun here for 2.5 months. Everyone was friendly and thankfully when I arrived people in the dorms were introverted but social. Facilities were pretty clean and people in the dorm left to clean as and when they saw fit (weekly but when they wanted). Plently of group activities. Although vibes within the house towards the end werent great due to some people being overly touchy and clingy with others without consent but other than that no real issues.

I enjoy si much my time in Busan the house is in a centric place full of good restaurants and a lot of things to do, the people is amazing and the persons that como to talk with you are really nice I love it I will recommend for sure!!

I stayed there for 40 days and was an incredible time. The dorm is close to the studio. It’s located around PNU. The work is not difficult, It’s 3 hours a day, so you have plenty of time to enjoy the city. Busan is amazing, many museums, cafes, beautiful beaches. I loved talking with Koreans and learn more about their culture and share mine. Andy is an amazing host and super kind. He helped me to buy new glasses when mine broke. I met people from every place, made friends for life and had fun. I super recommend. I can’t wait to come back. Best choice I’ve ever made was volunteering here 💜

We had a great time here! People are great, host is great and the work is great and easy. You get to interact with lots of locals and learn about their culture! Apartment is within walking distance and very close to a train station and bus stops. Little market and convenience stores steps away. Very nice place in Busan!
