My stay in Vung Tau was very comfortable and I spent a great time there! The classes were very easy and simple, there is always a teacher in class with the volunteer so the volunteer only assists the teacher. The situation is not exactly as described in the profile, however right after applying you will be informed about the conditions. Judy was very kind and welcoming, she gave me lots of tips what to do and took me out for dinner. Whenever I needed help she was there for me. I definitely recommend this experience to anyone who likes being around children and wants to experience local life:)

I volunteered for a month as an assistant english teacher in the English Language center in Vung Tau and for me, it was a very valuable experience in my life! The children are active and energetic and sweet, and the classes are very organized and you have only a helping role, so this suits everyone. The volunteer coordinator Judi was amazing, she is very friendly, helped me with everything, took me out for local foods and gave a lot of tipps about what to do and where to find things in Vung Tau. Also the teachers at the English Center were warm and friendly. I really loved Vietnam, thank you!

I had an amazing time at the English center. Judy is a very helpful and took me around to see Vung Tau. She also introduced me to different Vietnamese foods! The English center is well organized and has good teachers. The students are motivated and fun to teach!

My experience at the English center was wonderful. From the communication and hospitality of Judi from the very beginning and right until the I left. The warm welcome of Faith and Tony at the center, the other teachers and assistants and of course the incredibly enthusiastic and clever students. Thank you for such a wonderful experience.
Judi is such a kind soul, I feel so grateful to have met her and I look forward to returning to Vung Tau and to the English center in the new year. I have learnt a great deal from the great teachers of the English center.

A experiência foi muito interessante, pude acompanhar e ajudar nas aulas de inglês, não consegui compartilhar muito sobre minha cultura e essa era minha meta. Se o seu objetivo é ser professor de inglês e ter experiência, é ótima oportunidade. A cidade é linda e tem muitos lugares para visitar, além das praias. O hostel está bem localizado na cidade, é um pouco longe da escola, mas a moto resolve fácil. Optei por alugar um apartamento perto da praia, o que fez a minha estadia mais confortável. O dinheiro das aulas é suficiente para viver. A Judi é maravilhosa e me levou para conhecer a cidade.
