Wadi Rum Eco Tours

We are situated in the heart of the spectacular Wadi Rum UNESCO world heritage area and offer a unique eco-tourism opportunity. Our camp is the first sustainably run camp in this delicate environment and we aim to reduce the impact of mass tourism as much as possible. We are looking for volunteers who are enthusiastic about helping the environment and sharing their knowledge and skills with us to help sustain this remarkable place.

We will provide volunteers with a place to sty and regular delicious Jordanian home-cooked meals. There will also be many opportunities to explore the vast desert and majestic rock formations that typify Wadi Rum. We are a small family-run venture and would be very appreciative of any help we receive.

I had a wonderful time at Wadi Rum Eco Tours! For my first experience trough World of Packers I couldn’t ask for better. Eqab is a wonderful man, who provided me with everything I needed, took me on beautiful tours, and with whom I had the most interesting conversations. The camp is in a superb location, clean, and the food really tasty. The work itself consists in improving the camp’s site, so if u have knowledge in the field or you want to improve your skills, I suggest you this experience from the bottom of my heart! I even had my birthday there, and Eqab suprised me with a birtday cake!
