Sidnia es una buena persona. Simpática y cariñosa. Se preocupa por la gente y te hace sentir en casa desde el primer día. A mi me trató de acomodar incluso antes de la fecha, porque me quedaba sin alojamiento. Pero al final no hizo falta porque encontré una opción muy buena, que después se convertiría en mi hogar en NYC.
Decidí terminar con el voluntariado 10 días antes de la fecha concretada, ya que no cumplía con mis expectativas y objetivos: inmersión e IDIOMA.

Me enviaste un texto por whatsapp que te ibas una semana antes porque querías estar de vacaciones la última semana. Cuando te dije que no cumpliste con nuestro arreglo te fuiste el mismo día. Así que terminaste el voluntariado 2 semanas antes. Le has quitado la oportunidad a otras chicas que se hubieran podido quedar esos días y nos dejaste a mi y a las otras chicas con varias cosas pendientes. No te puedo recomendar porque no es responsable lo que has hecho.

It was a great work exchange experience.
Sid’s place is very welcoming, she is a wonderful host and I felt like home while staying there.
She also provides food, Brooklyn is an amazing neighborhood and the house is very close to a subway station, you can easily go anywhere from there, including the airport.
The work itself was not difficult at all, sometimes I had to drive her car, dog sitting and keeping the house clean.
The working hours are fair, the room is comfortable and I had lots of free time to explore NYC.
I will be back again, I totally recommend it :)

My time at Sidnia‘s place was a very special experience for me. Sid made me feel very welcome, she is such a loving, understanding, caring and fun person. I loved spending time with her.
Sometimes communication could have been better, but in the end everything worked out fine.
Regarding your tasks, most of the time you will have to do all kind of chores around the house, and also take care of the dogs.
If you’re flexible, dog-loving and want to explore New York, Sidnia’s place will be perfect for you

My time at the Warwick house was definitely something special. I really felt loved and welcome by Sid and I liked spending time with her.
Sadly, communicating was hard sometimes as she was out of the house quite often.
Other than that: be prepared to spend a lot of time working with and around dogs, as this is what most of my tasks looked like. If you don’t mind that as well as spontaneous tasks and replanning, than stay in with Sid is a great way to explore New York as it is very easy to get to the city from her place.

Si es tu primera experiencia con worldpackers y la primera vez en la ciudad, entonces este es tu voluntariado!
Desde el principio me sentí bienvenida en casa y el hecho de que el trabajo requiera de trabajar con animales es, sin duda, la mejor parte.
Sid es super amable, alguien a quien puedes preguntarle cualquier cosa las veces que hagan falta y te responderá sin problema, además de ser flexible con los horarios ya que eso te da una mayor libertad para conocer la ciudad y los alrededores.
Sin duda estaría encantada de volver por más tiempo 🥹♥️
