We are in the most romantic area on the Middelrhine with a lot of Castels and a lot to see. Your winery is still very small but we like to houst people and we like to show you in the different times of the year what you need to do to get a perfect wine. Only to now the picking is not always at the same days we starting around 25 of September until the End of October but we do not pick the complete period... this depends on the weather.
The cellar work is done by me Melanie and i have a second worker witch do the Maschine work in the win yards. In different periods when it is needed we organize more workers for help. Only for the Greap picking we need a lot of People witch normally is a funny Group mixed of Worldpackers and others witch picks the Greps
We worked Mon-Fri from 8am-13pm and had the weekend free.
Melanie is the most nicest and sweetest person I have ever met. Her place has a homely feel. She would simply ask us to write a shopping list of the things we needed for cooking. The fridge was always full as well as the fruit basket. She went out of her way everyday to make lunch for us, and she was nice enough to drive up to the vineyards to tell us when lunch was ready. We never ate the same type of food twice. She made the most delicious Italian cuisine and often she would eat with us and just speak and joke around.

Bacharach es un lugar precioso en donde se respira un aire de tranquilidad y amabilidad. Cada día que salíamos a cosechar las uvas me tenía que detener a apreciar el paisaje y en las noches disfrutaba de la compañía de los demás viajeros. El trabajo a veces es pesado, pero se compensa por el ambiente que se crea en conjunto con las demás personas.
