Because we are like a big family. The place is small enough to be all together and the vibe is amazing. We share music, chats, food, hikings, yoga and therapies and meditations.
I have been travelling for more than 15 years all over the world and I have been always staying in hostels. What I have created here is what I was looking for when I was travelling: to be part of the team and make friends with other travellers. I am a therapist too and I am always concerned about the family vibe we've got in the house.

Casa Calma es un lugar de paz, cuidado y belleza donde todo es refinado manteniendo la sencillez.
Anna, la propietaria, es organizada y profesional, humanamente sensible y dispuesta a escuchar.
Te hará sentir como en casa.
El trabajo es limpiar los baños y la cocina y ordenar las habitaciones con cambio de sábanas.
En junio, temporada baja, hay pocos invitados, por lo que el trabajo está bien repartido.
En su tiempo libre, la playa y los restaurantes son accesibles a pie.

Casa Calma es un hostal con mucha paz y buena vibra. El trabajo es muy sencillo y poco complicado. La dueña Anna es un amor, siempre está disponible para ayudar o por si tienes preguntas. El pueblo de Agaete es encantador, playa, montaña, paz y naturaleza... Recomendo ese voluntariado a cualquier persona que le gusta la naturaleza y los hostales tranquilos sin demasiadas personas. Un refugio para el alma. La casa tiene una vibra hermosa, ideal para relajarse. Y el pueblo también muy tranquilo y pacífico. Se descansa super bien, hay muchos lugares para recorrer y estar en contacto con la Naturaleza. Definitivamente un lugar de desconexión y reconexión con uno mismo.
El hostal es pequeño lo que para mi fue ideal porque lo sentí como mi hogar, e hizo que las tareas sean fáciles de realizar.
La dueña es un amor. Super amable y siempre disponible para ayudarnos en lo que fuera necesario. Me sentí super cómoda y tuve mucho tiempo para descansar. Mega recomiendo! Gracias Anna

I really enjoyed my time at Casa Calma. I felt comfortable right from the beginning. With the other two volunteers I shared a small room, but actually we almost just slept in there and most of the time stayed outside at the rooftop, which is perfect for chilling. I also really liked the opportunity to do Yoga, either when there was a class or just on my own. The work was just as agreed. Sometimes there’s quite a lot to do, when there are many people leaving, but within the four free days there’s enough time to recover and also explore the beautiful nature in and around Agaete.

Todo es recomendable aca, queridos Viajeros Voluntarios: la localidad (hermoso Agaete), el hostal (pequeńo y acogedor, con terraza grande en el techo), el horario de trabajo. Casa Calma atrae a la gente muy especial, he tenido mucha suerte. Gracias, Anna, por esta experiencia tan linda!
