Fantastic nature and great opportunities for trekking. Friendly inhabitants with a lot of experience who are willing to share their knowledge. Good musicians and opportunities for playing together in our music room. Lots of opportunities to learn traditional skills for homesteading. Lovely place for children with lots of space to play. Good relations with other villages including Bordo Buddhist centre. Lovely warm summers and sunlight even in winter. No ideologies or religions. No bosses or leaders. Women friendly, equal rights. No discrimination based on anything.
We do not have staff but 'hosts' who are assigned to ensure wellbeing of volunteers and are responsible for them and to them throughout their stay. Volunteers can expect to be treated as equals and certainly not as a cheap source of labour. We place a high value on friendship and sharing.
My stay in Zonca was incredible, there is everything to do, as well as construction or gardens. They are good people, I stayed with Steffano and he has very good rooms. In free time you can go for a walk in the mountains or even play music, they have a good music room. It is a good place if you are also looking for tranquility and fresh air
