The Exchange

We are engaged with youth of Ghana to promote sustainable development through many activities like bee keeping, afforestation and sanitation program. Our main goal is to provide easy self employment through use of natural materials sustainably and building unity and good governance with promotion of human right. We are currently undertaking bee keeping, animal rearing, snail rearing and poultry.


25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Permaculture Course: Take part in our Permaculture course for free.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.


Beginner English or Intermediate Spanish

Over 18 years old

Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

You will help in making boxes of bee haves,planting trees,teaching an employable skills you know and making lessons with our local youth.

Activities & Shift

We work only weekdays and weekends are for travel and free for all our volunteers.
