The hostel Hostal was our first Worldpackers project and it was a great start into the volunteering world! We met interesting people and had much doing our tasks, which did not take to long, so we had enough time and flexibility to explore Santiago! The hostel is in a party neighborhood, so you have to be prepared for loud noices in the night, but nevertheless we really enjoyed our stay and would come back.

The staff were really kind and did their best to communicate with me in English which I appreciated. They also invited me for drinks on the first night. The reason I am leaving a low review is bc I left very quickly the hostel. Smoking weed in the team dorm was allowed, but I didn't knew and I felt very uncomfortable with the constant smell in the room that would've gotten into my things too. Breakfast was also not provided like the position said it would. I would take the time to ask questions and make things clear before arriving to know what to expect! Thank you Paulina for your time!

The hostel is a sweet hostel. The staff and volunteers were all great. The hostel is beautiful with tons of art everywhere and the night life is always big in the neighborhood.

It was the best experience I ever had in a hostel. I found a second family there that helped me find a better way to enjoy my traveling and life. The environment was so cozy and welcoming. The friends that I made there I'm gonna carry in my heart for a life time. The staff is great, the structure is really good, and they have a lot of partner places that you can go for free, wich makes the expierence really fun. The best party hostel ever.

I'd definitely recommend the hostel! I had an incredible experience. The work was good, the place has a really nice atmosphere, the staff is amazing and a great location. I'm going to miss this place a lot!

I absolutelly recommend the hostel if you are interested in meet new people and have lots of fun in a very cool and energetic atmosphere. I learned a lot with the staff, hosts and bar tasks. Thanks everyone! I'll be always grateful for this opportunity! Hope see you again!

The hostel is the best place in Santiago! i had an awesome experience working here! the hostel is super cool, great location, the work is nice, loots of parties but most important of all awesome staff! helping organize the parties is super fun and spending a couple of months with the great people at the staff felt like i had a second family here in Chile. never gonna forget this experience and i'm gonna keep these friendships with me for life! i'll miss you guys!

Many worldpackers have been applying to this position recently. The host will probably not be able to respond to all of the applications, so we recommend that you also apply to other hosts in our community and not just this one :)
