Startup Basecamp is seeking an onsite part-time community manager, responsible for providing and developing a high-quality guest community experience. The position requires to: Greet and Introduce new members to the community Socialize and support members during their stay Uphold high-quality user experience in San Francisco Basecamp locations Organize and support events for the community Maintain the space and coordinate with cleaners


Title

28 hours of help per week

Night Shift: Help with night tasks to make the place relaxing for all guests

Party Promoter: Help to promote parties and social activities.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and attend to guests.

Activities & Shift

Responsibilities:
Daily coordination between the booking team and front-desk for check-ins, room cleanings & guest room allocations.
Schedule & do guest check-in tours
Community Management: greet, introduce and connect new members to the in-house & alumni community
Socialize and support members during their stay with available resources
Daily space management: ensure common spaces are up to standards
Organize weekly community social in-house events
Weekly outreach & setup of free co-working passes
Local Event Outreach including via social media channels
Website upcoming event


Rules

Requirements:
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and comfortable with getting his/her hands dirty in the work of launching a startup—we need someone who is proactive, autonomous and hungry to learn and grow. The candidate must:

Have some degree of community management experience as well as experience organizing events
Possess basic knowledge and a strong interest in entrepreneurship, startups, & tech
Be organized & detailed-oriented
Have excellent interpersonal skills
Love to meet new people
Be a quick-learner and multi-tasker
Be hard-working and adaptable to a fast paced environment
Proactive & hungry to grow
At ease with social media & slack
Experience in the hospitality world not required but preferred
