My friend and I arrived for our first Work Exchange with great expectations!! The place is amazing, in the top of mountain with the best sunset every day, a lot of people of differents countrys and cultures, so we could practice our english.
The problem for us was the staff house that had bad conditions, no water in the bathroom and others things.
I believe that we always take positive things from our experiences and despite these problems, I am very grateful for the time I spent and lived with everyone. This assessment has the purpose that other people have a better experience than mine.

It was an amazing experience!
I worked hard sometimes and have some quiet in anothers... the owners are friendly people, instead our comunication were broke because my broked english, LOL... sorry for that, Vicky and Math, but I could learn a litlle about the african culture and their reality; about the guests and staff storys around the fire or watshing the beautiful sunset that they have, improve my english at all...have some fun too!
I could learn, share and enjoy.
Thanks a lot! Missing all there!!
Missing a lot that lovely place and Sth Africa!!
thanks, worldpackers!

My experience in Africa Array was very good, met great people and learned a lot, Vicky is a great person and open to help in whatever it takes, as the hostel is a small farm away from the city the tasks can vary greatly, all depends on your aptitudes, overall I recommend the experience.

United States

This was my first time using Worldpackers. The experience at African Array I won't soon forget. If not for their kindness and the opportunity to volunteer there, who knows where I may be now. The trip to Africa was incredible and the flexibility with schedule made getting out to explore a breeze. Now, about the downsides. The hostel is pretty far off the beaten path. Without a vehicle it is hard to get much of anywhere. I also understand that South Africa has it's fair share of issues, but I wish that the owners saw more of the positive in there country. But overall, my trip was love.

Amazing experience opportunity for interaction with people around the world.
I saw the most amazing sunsets of my life from the living room window and deck.
Attentive hosts and the town of Plett has a great location for getting to know the most famous attractions on the garden route. by the scale of work you do not get bored doing a single task and still learn something new.
Thanks everyone!
