This was my first time using Worldpackers. The experience at African Array I won't soon forget. If not for their kindness and the opportunity to volunteer there, who knows where I may be now. The trip to Africa was incredible and the flexibility with schedule made getting out to explore a breeze. Now, about the downsides. The hostel is pretty far off the beaten path. Without a vehicle it is hard to get much of anywhere. I also understand that South Africa has it's fair share of issues, but I wish that the owners saw more of the positive in there country. But overall, my trip was love.
Amazing experience opportunity for interaction with people around the world.
I saw the most amazing sunsets of my life from the living room window and deck.
Attentive hosts and the town of Plett has a great location for getting to know the most famous attractions on the garden route. by the scale of work you do not get bored doing a single task and still learn something new.
My first experience as a Worldpacker was incredible . I had the opportunity to met amazing people that made my journey at African Array better than I expected , we became friends that helped each other , a volunteer family , so nice how different kind of personalities lived fine together haha with respect. In general I just have good things to say about this place . Peaceful view everyday , doesn't matter the weather . The owners also nice people looking after the volunteers providing opportunities inside and outside of the Hostel . Thank you all for everything . Cheers!
