The place is great! You really get to experience the real jungle! We worked more than 4 hrs and had no days off, we worked mostly cleaning and in the kitchen because I am a woman (sexist) I asked for more hard work but didn't happened. The host can be touchy and rude but if you go pass that it's ok. To be honest the host made me feel super unconfortable. If you have a nice team and do stuff on your own and hike around it's so much fun!
My experience in jungla was just amazing! Is a stunning spot with awesome people and delicious food. The 15$ a day is a fair price for the 4h a day of work. Is the perfect place to who want be in the nature and out of the tecnology that we got nowadays.
Note that to get there from San Jose will cost you 13$ for bus plus 30$ for the the boat, the same to came back, get the money before go because there aren't cash machine over there.
I would highly recomended, just relax, enjoy the spot and have a lot of fun!
