My experience in jungla was just amazing! Is a stunning spot with awesome people and delicious food. The 15$ a day is a fair price for the 4h a day of work. Is the perfect place to who want be in the nature and out of the tecnology that we got nowadays.
Note that to get there from San Jose will cost you 13$ for bus plus 30$ for the the boat, the same to came back, get the money before go because there aren't cash machine over there.
I would highly recomended, just relax, enjoy the spot and have a lot of fun!

Una experiencia increible

The place itself is located in a truly amazing place. Right next to the Corcovado national park. Plenty of beautiful beaches around and jungle all around.

The hostel still needs to work on organization as it sometimes relies too much on volunteers, but still a truly amazing experience.

It is hard to express in words the experience of being in Jungla del Jaguar - but if I had to choose a word would be - amazing! The place is beautiful surrounded by nature, sea , animals ... If you wanna get away from it all (technology, city routine) this is the place.
About the work - normally kitchen (cooking assistant) and cleaning (bathrooms and dorms).
You have 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) so if you are used to it like 6 times a day (like me o/ ) - I advice to take some food with you.
Thanks Leo and Suzanna for all !
