It was a really good experience. The work wasn't too difficult, or hard to learn. The location of the hostel was great, and the two owners were very welcoming and helpful. Would recommend!

This hostel was awesome to work at! Derry is a small but avery charming town in Northern Ireland. Easy to explore by foot and has a very interesting history.
The work itself isn’t overly fun, cleaning and house keeping, but the perks are free breakfast and a free bed plus laundry. Jonny is awesome and is more than willing to help you out any way he can.
There is a grocery store right across the street which is super convenient.
The people I volunteered with made my stay great! Charlie, Sarai, Yara, Christian. Everyone was amazing. Thanks for a great first Worldpackers experience!

I just have to thank so much to Jhonny, Thommy and the volunteers who were with me. It was a great exchange experience, the hostel is right in the center of the city, the city is very calm, good for those who want to get out of the action, and if it is chosen, prepare to have the best breakfast❤️

Amazing Hostel in good location, near the cultural activities and comercial shops. Lovely Staff. I liked the Common Room where you can to study, listenning music, to watch tv or meet other guest and have a long and funny discusion. Derry -The Wallet City is the door to visit the Coast of the North Ireland, her history is amazing like the Game of Throne.

The experience at the hostel was positive overall, the strong point was the harmony found with the other volunteers, their help was essential to play my tareffe inside the hostel, especially to clean where I am called because in opportunity to clean the best way I lost time not finishing everything in the timetable. In addition to this and the problem of bedbugs that forced me to take the medicine because I am allergic to insects, the stadia was rewarded by the pizza laps that John and Tommy offered us without saying the simply wonderful Game of Thrones tour. Wonderful experience. Thank you!

It was an amazing experience. I always wanted to work in the hospitality industry and this allowed me a little window into that. The hostel itself is a cute little place with plenty of charm. It's a perfect place to explore Northen Ireland and if you don't mind a bit of travel all of the Republic of Ireland. Even though you barely see them Tommy and Johnny are great people to talk too. Derry itself has plenty of history and things to do including some beautiful walking paths. Thanks for the oportunity.
