The Experience

We are a small tourism located in the countryside, 7 km from the beach. We need help to treat our guests: to clean the rooms, make beds, prepare breakfast, cook small meals, treat the garden, make small arrangements. All the help is welcome. Our space promotes a simple life. There are no parties, guests are looking to relax. Normally they sleep early and woke up early. We can organize so you can have 2 or 3 days a week to go along the coast.

I arrived to this marvellous place "by accident" and after 5 weeks I can say I´ve left one of the most awesome places I´ve ever been.

Monte Ponte Pedra is a cozy place, where Ana&Jorge and the rest of the team live like a family. The good vibes are incredible there. You can feel them since the first day. The accomodation is nice, the fridge is always full and the conversations with all of them have been a continous learning for me.

Special mention to the king of the house: Farouk. A dog that can talk to you with his eyes... :)

I had a great time here, although they were close for a season and I was there as the only volunteer. But it was also season for renovation, improvement and innovation, so there was quite some work for me to do. The owners, Jorge and Ana, are wonderful people! Friendly, supportive, open minded and easy going, it was fun with them and never boring.
It is a beautiful place in off season, I can only wonder how amazing it would be in high season and with more volunteers.
I can highly recommend this place for other volunteers.

About the host

The house is surrounded by green spaces, silence reigns, interrupted only by the sounds of the countryside. We favor a simple environment, authentic, cozy and comfortable, where luxury is nature itself. Between the countryside and the beach are the most beautiful and well-preserved coastal areas of southern Europe where you can still find true natural treasures: pristine beaches, lagoons, places lost in time, walking trails. It`s the ideal pl...
