As a hostel we do things a little bit different from others. We mostly host organized groups - most of which are children - and provide them all meals. Individual guests are equally as appreciated, but tend to be fewer when the groups get larger. We are not a party hostel, therefore we cater to those with an appreciation for nature, and spirituality. We consider this place as very relaxed but very professional.

We expect from our volunteers to help keep this place in shape by providing support to our staff. This includes tasks like general cleaning, setting up the tables for mealtimes, break down after meals, housekeeping/bedmaking, assisting with guests when necessary, and maybe some light computer duties.
***We require a commitment of at least three (3) weeks minimum from our volunteers.***
Things are pretty relaxed here when the groups are minimal, so shifts are completely dependent on the needs of the groups. However, your hours will be at least 4 per day, with a maximum of 5.
During high season, there are three shifts: breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The meal preps are the same for all three shifts: you will assist with setting up the tables, bringing out the food when the kitchen staff requests your assistance, collect the tableware once the group is finished with their meal, clean off the tables, and sweep the floors in the diningroom and common areas.
For housekeeping, when there are changovers, your duties will consist of collecting the garbage, stripping the beds, vacuuming, dusting, making the beds, and providing assistance with cleaning the bathrooms when needed. Some ironing and organizing of the laundry may be required.
As stated above, we are not a party hostel. We do not have a bar, therefore we do not provide alcohol. There is no alcohol consumption at the hostel.
Quiet hours are generally from 10pm to 6am.
We are respectful of each other and expect you to be mindful of your treatment of yourself, our staff, and fellow volunteers.
