English or Dutch childcare on a subtropical island, with plenty of time off to enjoy the beaches and volcanoes!

The Exchange

Hi, we're André and Marta, from the Netherlands and Spain respectively, and we live in a lovely apartment on magical Lanzarote. We're looking for English or Dutch childcare for our (currently bilingual) son Diego. He is 3 and will go to primary school from September 10th. If you could spend some playtime with him or take him to the beach during these school holidays, that would be fantastic. Only for native DUTCH or ENGLISH speakers.

Diego speaks Dutch and Spanish, and he's showing great interest in English (his current vocab includes words such as "fire truck", "over the bridge", "airplane", and he can count to 10 in English).

Activities & Shift

If you could spend 3-4 hours with him in the morning, mainly in the house or in Tías, that would be a great help for us.

Diego loves the beach, ice creams, machines and vehicles and buttons and knobs, painting, running around, etc. He's pretty active and you won't take long to be his favourite sister. ;-)

If you have a drivers' license, you can take one of our cars occasionally to explore the island.
