I had a really good time at Himmapan, although it was low season and first I was there as the only volunteer. But it was also season for renovation, improvement and innovation, so there was quite some work for me to do. The owner, Jay, is a great guy! Friendly, supportive, open minded and laid back and easy going, it was fun with him and never boring.
If it is already such a beautiful place in the off-season, I can imagine how lively the resort will be with a lot of guests and more volunteers. I'd like to come back again and can highly recommend this place for other volunteers.
Karina is an amazing volunteer! Her knowledge and skills in many areas are magnificent and were very beneficial for Himmapan. She not only did the Feng Shui calculation for the whole premises, but she immediately executed the painting of the bungalows in the adequate Feng Shui colours during her stay, which made a great difference in the atmosphere here. And out of her passion as an Interior Designer she implemented a lot of improvements for us and the guests.
I came to know Karina as very innovative and creative, reliable and responsible, always helpful, friendly, cooperative, dedicated, acting on her own initiative, and always for the best of the Himmapan and our community.
It was a gain and pleasure to had have her with us.

Himmapan is a beautiful relaxing resort in the centre of the island of Koh Phayam, within easy reach of the islands pristine beaches and shops, bars and restaurants. The vibe at Himmapan is very laid back and serene, as is the rest of the island. Come and join us on this paradise island and I guarantee you will not want to leave.
