Program Details

Volunteers must have a good work ethic, being willing to help with the light cleaning of the guests rooms, including mainly making beds and cleaning the floors. The volunteer job is a relaxed position, where on the average day you will spend 15-20 minutes cleaning each room. We have 10 villa's in total, but check out rooms are cleaned by a resort employee, so most days you will only be cleaning 7 - 8 rooms.

We are looking for flexibility, as the cleaning is based on when the guests leave and there could be occasions where you might have to wait for the guests but never for longer than your projected working hours.

Activities & Shift

- Shift is from about 10:30 to 2:30pm
- Activities include restocking water and toilet paper in each room, making beds, cleaning the floors and wiping down mirrors.

Rules

- The volunteer should be able to take on the responsibility of the duties mentioned above.
- The volunteer would also be expected to be flexible and willing to help where help is needed.

It would be expected that the volunteer would have an open mind when it comes to the duties involved as every day is different and adaptability it key. This is a really good opportunity to grow personally, make good friends and experience the island paradise that is Koh Phayam.

It is also good to note that Koh Phayam is very different from other destinations in Thailand. It is very laid back and quiet, with a good mix of things to do, but in no way commercialized which makes the experience very unique.
