The Experience

Cooking simple and at the same time gorgeous meals and keeping the 'Kosher Kitchen' :-) clean might be one of the most important tasks that need to be done. You actually make it possible for other volunteers to continue working physically on the project and fully enjoy the break moments!

I've nothing but positive things to say about my stay at Robur and Marieke, the owner. She does a great job running it with limited resources. The project and the story behind it are so beautiful and touching. I've learned a lot from Marieke and my time at Robur, I've met interesting people and I feel lucky to have been part of this project. Marieke does very well to make you feel at home. My work is not done, though, as I need to edit the video I shot, but I'm really looking forward to the result and I hope it helps to trigger more interest in people to help at Robur. Best of luck, Marieke.

Thanks a lot, dear Kurt, how nice and encouraging! I do hope our paths will cross again and again.
And I'm sooooo eager to see your video... If you need to make more shots to really have it the way you envision, don't hesitate to contact me!
I also sincerely hope I can somehow help with your own dream project...
A lot of luck to you, too, Kurt!

Estuve por un mes en Robur y mi experiencia aquí ha sido excelente, nunca tuve problemas. Definitivamente regreso el siguiente verano! ..

As soon as I got to Robur, I felt welcomed. The host, Marieke, is absolutely wonderful. The project she's built up is amazing, and even though I had no experience in this work I was able to learn a lot. The community of volunteers was very international, and we had many fun adventures together. What I loved most, though, was the amazing atmosphere of the place. Stuck in the middle of a small forest, you are completely surrounded by beauty.

I definitely recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn new skills, meet amazing people, and experience an unseen side of Belgium.

What can I talk about Robot and Marieke? The place is beautiful, and the host are so cool, she is amazing. I really appreciate what I learn there. Thanks for the opportunity.

Thank YOU, João Lucas, you were an anchor in a difficult situation, (after I found out that the other Worldpacker wouldn't show up). I will never forget how you helped me out by working SO hard, and with full enthousiasm! You are truly a part of Robur - a Roburger... ;-) Always welcome!
