I really enjoy my first worldpackers experience.

Sara is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! She gives freedom for you complete your tasks. The principal tasks are simple and if you want is possible give suggestions and make differents things!!!

The hostel is in a great location!!! Mérida is in great place with so many things to do. It's very cultural! In the city there are many programs, like a salsa classes, Yucatecan serenate, organic chocolate tasting and several museums.

Near of Mérida you can find cenotes, mayan ruins and beaches!!!

It was my first time as a worldpacker and I don't regret anything! Sara and Paco (and their loving dog, Rocco) are truly nice people, I learned so much from them and from the whole experience. You will be asked to receive guests, clean, paint walls, sweep, keep the place nice and leave your mark- I got to paint some palms and trees in a room :) Mérida is a beautiful, historial place and the hostel is really near downtown, so you get to walk around the city a lot. Also, when not working, Sara wants you to get to know as much as possible and give you the best advice.
Muchas gracias por todo!!

tnks for eveything!!! it was great to work with you, and love the painting you made for us!!! i hope you enjoy Merida and the last part of your trip!!!

The hostel was clean and small, not so many things to do in. The owners Sara and Paco are kind but seems like they are a little detached from the stuffs of the hostel.

experence at Akasha hostel was amazing. It was my first time and I was little bit scared about it but when I arrived , immediately I felt like home . Sara and paco are so friendly and polite . Hostel is good little and very clean . We helped Sara with organization and I can say that this experience helped me growing up. I meet a lot of people from different part of the world and I knew some different way of viewing life. The city is so cute , little but full of things to do : night and day . Merida is close to chicken itza , uxmal and others amazing place.
