Saint James Backpackers was my first experience as a Worldpackers volunteer and it was great times! I’ve felt more confident to share skills and learn new cultures at any other country and place. The guests were really friendly, the staff really welcoming and the hostel has an excellent location. I improved my English; I increased my knowledge about how a hostel works; learned about hospitality and was in contact with many other languages and English accents.
My first experience as a Worldpackers volunteer at Saint James Backpackers Hostel couldn't be better: the location was perfect as I could explore all the centre city walking, the staff was truly friendly and welcoming, there was always insteresting guests from all over the world to speak with and I felt I really improved my english and got to know new things about the hospitality and customer service fields. I highly reccomend it!
We have been entertaining and accommodating global travelers in central London for over 45 years. We've just had a major refurbishment and we now offer a range of rooms including bunk beds as well as private and private en-suite rooms. The hostel has a 120 beds and is based in an original Victorian building with original victorian architecture.About the host
