Program Details

A unique twist into responsible tourism is here with Beacon of Hope Uganda. We give you an opportunity to learn new skills, explore Uganda and a chance to make a difference in the lives of rural poor communities.

Our volunteers achieve successful integration into local communities through a well designed, rigorous and enjoyable orientation program when they arrive in Uganda.

This includes basic local language tuition to enable our volunteers to share a few words with their new community.

Each program is specifically designed to have the greatest affect on all involved, so no matter your duration of stay, 2 week or 6-weeks, you will know and see the difference you have made.

Activities & Shift

In your free time, We can arrange trips and days out to experience different Uganda wonders, live and learn whilst on your program by immersing yourself in a complete Ugandan culture and life.

And why not combine your volunteering with a real camping or safari adventure and enjoy the spectacular wildlife and white water experiences or go gorilla trekking with Beacon of Hope Uganda adventure trips organised with our most proud tours guiding team.
