Program Details

In exchange for a bed & our weekly staff meal, you agree to work an average of 19 hours per week. As this work-exchange is in high demand, and so many people want to volunteer here, we must set our maximum length of stay at 2 months. Exceptions can be made for staff members that go way above and beyond. Your original departure date is the date that we expect you to move on, or become a pay-to-stay guest. If you would potentially like to stay longer, you must let the managers know well in advance so arrangements can be made if necessary.

You MUST be on time for your shift, NO talking during your shift, SHIRTS ARE REQUIRED through the shift.
Anyone who is caught getting high, or drinking, directly before, or during their shift will be instantly removed from the hostel and may not return. See the 5-minute rule above. Military rules: 12 hours dry. No drinking or anything that will mess with your state of mind up to 12 hours before running a shift.
