Live at our Hostel for free in exchange for work Front Desk overnight/morning shifts, leading our events for guests, and helping our Housekeeping Staff with making beds.
Our guest events include: Pasta Diners, Pub Crawls, Drum Circles, Picnics, and walks, and more! You'll be leading these events! The front desk shifts might be morning or evening depending on availability but you will know your schedule in advance.
22 hours of help per week
Help organise and promote parties and social activities.
Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.
What you get
5 days off per week
You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Our hostel is the highest-rated in Washington DC and we have many happy guests from all over the world who are fun to interact with. We host weekly free events, which our team organizes and manages, and we have a good time at work and also have team dinners from time to time. Free breakfast is included every day.
Activities & Shift
Of course, you will receive training from our managers on how to do all your duties, plus follow up and constant contact with all of us so that you never feel confused about what to do or how to do anything.

Or "The time I hiked up a mountain but realized the map was in miles not kilometers just as the clouds rolled in.") We'll ask about this in the interview. Do not write the entire travel story -- just the title.
