Somos uma ong focada no apoio da cultura e comunidade Awaete Assurini do Xingu que sobrevive por financiamento de editais e apoios. Não podemos ter gastos extras. Esse valor é para cobrir o equivalente dos gastos extras de água, luz, gás para mais gente na casa.

In the organization house I felt welcome and needed. My volunteer tasks were quite different from what I expected but the hosts communicated very nicely, they were always responsive and informative. I had an unfortunate accident with their energetic dog Todi. So after that, as they said, for his and my own safety, I mostly helped them to keep the house clean and tidy. I especially enjoyed to learn about the indigenous communities, their art and projects. And I want to continue looking for more contacts to help them with spreading awareness. I wish them the best time in Europe with the exhibitions!

Timei e Carla são pessoas comprometidas com suas causas, que batalham todos os dias para trazer equidade para a comunidade para a qual fazem parte e trabalham. Acredito que com um pouco mais de estruturação do programa de voluntariado, teriam muito mais a oferecer para os worldpackers que recebem. No mais, a estadia foi tranquila e nossa relação sempre foi boa e positiva, agregando para ambos os lados.

Essa organização não está à altura dos padrões do Worldpackers: passam a manhã, tarde e noite fumando maconha, negligenciam a limpeza dos espaços reservados aos voluntários e não oferecem colaboração. Fui deixado do lado de fora da casa e acusado injustamente de pegar a chave, sem prova alguma. Carla é difícil de lidar e me repreendeu injustamente. Essa má gestão culminou em eu ter que pagar por uma hospedagem em um hostel, para não prejudicar a minha viagem planejada para Soure. A cama fica direto no chão, mesmo tendo várias redes fizerem meu colega de quarto comprar uma.

O cara quer viajar de graça sem fazer nada e importunar indigena pra ficar fazendo show pra ele a ponto de entrar no quarto sem autorização pra ficar falando!

NÃO RECEBEREMOS MAIS BOLSONARISTAS AINDA MAIS QUE QUEREM TURISTAR DE GRAÇA POR AÍ SEM COMPROMISSO ALGUM. ALÉM DO PREJUIZO DA CHAVE AINDA DEIXOU UM GASTO DE LUZ POR NÃO RESPEITAR AS REGRAS DA CASA DE APAGAR QUANDO SAIR! PARECIA SOCIO DA EQUATORIAL!
Quanto a rede está na vaga as condições de hospedagem. Gostaríamos de saber onde estão essas muitas redes que ele cita nos ajudariam bastante.
E a limpeza da casa era justamente uma das atribuições dele que simplesmente não teve nenhum compromisso em sua execução e o Playboy ao inves de vir ajudar ainda fica julgando.

A casa é bem espaçosa, tem piscina, cozinha compartilhada e lavanderia.O anfitrião Timei é super gentil e atencioso, tivemos mais contato com a Carla sua esposa que está mais a frente do projeto. Ajudamos na limpeza e organização do espaço e auxiliamos no desenvolvimento e escrita do projeto para futura casa de acolhimento para povos da floresta em trânsito. Algumas atividades expostas no app não foram ofertadas. Na vaga estava 10h semanais, mas a anfitriã nos solicitou trabalhar 20h porém entramos em acordo e trabalhamos 15h semanais. Em geral foi uma boa experiência.
