Support rural poor Vulnerable communities in Uganda


The Exchange

Volunteers will take part in sustainable farming, playing with children in school, HIV prevention activities, vegetable growing and skills development. A volunteer may introduce any other new project that t that can help improve living conditions of the rural poor [people. They will working with school children, women, plus youth groups. Volunteers have constructed solar dehydrators, did gardening, construction, teaching, and health projects


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Child Care: Help look after, educate and instruct children.

Arts: Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.


Requirements

Beginner English

Between 18 and 80 years old

Be from outside Uganda
