The Exchange

Help with check-ins at our guesthouse and apartments on Saturday and Sunday and possible late check-ins. Second task is making the beds on SOME mornings (this task is shared with the other volunteer, total amount of beds in the hostel is 30). If you are organized you will have plenty of time to enjoy Barcelona. English and Spanish languages are required.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Housekeeping: Exchange and wash bed linens. Make the beds.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and attend to guests.

Program Details

Work tasks are doing check-ins at the guesthouse (has 8 rooms) and apartments (4) and some mornings helping to make the beds at the Youth Hostel (total amount of beds is 30, small hostel).
In exchange the volunteer will have a bed in the private staff room of 2 beds (in the Youth Hostel) and the use of all hostel facilities. Monthly pocket money is €200.00.
