The Experience

Since we started hosting volunteers, local people and youth in our community are very eager to practice and try to talk to our volunteers when they walk in the street. We took it as advantage for them to practice and learn new languages (Basic language is English), even if they are eager to learn any other foreign language. We opened evening class for them to learn and practice languages. All volunteers interested in joining them are welcome!

I had a great time at samaritans, I think it’s a very good project for the kids in the community and Emma and his family are good hearted people, they made me feel at home.
I liked Emma's way of relating to the children a lot, he’s very patient and you can tell that he enjoys what he does, also mama Britty’s food is delicious.
I definitely recommend this experience.

Thank you so much. Your welcome

My experience at the Samaritan Education Centre was amazing. Emma with his family received me very well, and I really feel as being in my home. THe project is very nice and before that, I have never ever been in a Volunteer program. I learned a lot with Tanzanian People, how they live, how they work and how happy they are, even without a lot of resources. It was one of my very best experience in life, for sure!
