The priority needed is for versatile people who have experience, ability, and willingness to participate in the trade skills: *️️️️ Construction, plumbing, electric, physical labor *️️️️ General Maintenance; mending, building, cleaning, fixing, painting. HOWEVER, this ship also seeks a most flexible lot — crew of humble and noble heart who find the dignity of cleaning, swabbing, huffing and buffing with a goodly eye & hand for detail.

We ask that the first two weeks on board is done full time, meaning working with the rest of the crew from morning to evening. This initial period of intense work is to get you trained and used to life on a ferry. But also to get everyone mixed together and feeling close and comfortable both with crew and project. In this period we wish of you you take all the breaks you need. We wish to respect all needs for private and quiet time — also we urge volunteers to take the weekends off during this period. It’s not two weeks of whipping the whip, but two weeks of focus! We always have a lot of fun working, and we more often than not develop close friendships with the volunteers.
During this time we prepare all your meals.
After the two weeks, you’ll be 25 hour a week.
If you are with us for two weeks or less, you’ll be working full time, with weekends off. All meals provided.
