Working at THE ASH was an incredible experience!
But I already leave a warning: you need to be open to everything.
The housekeeping work is a bit heavy, especially when there are only two people. The reception can also be a bit tiring because on the night shift you are largely responsible to leave the place in order.
On the other hand, you are sure to meet amazing people, take time to get to know the places nearby and especially you will evolve yourself in relation to coexistence and respect with others.
Maybe it was more working than helping, but relationship with mates and staff was awesome. The city was beautiful, opportunities to travel even better... I learned a lot and I also improved my skills at languages, that is what I went for!
I really recommend it!!!!!
Miss u all...
First of all: Thank you Vini, Camila and Matheus.
ABout the hostal: It was not as I expected. Main problem: Meals. They tell you you have BREAK, LUNCH, DINN. That's false. You will be paid with 25 euros per week. Tell me how you can survive with that during a week..
SHIFTS: I applied for reception and I was there only for 10 days. The rest I was doing housekeeping. EVERYDAY. You will do the job that the people from the hostel should do, you are not helping you're doing the whole shift
In conclusion, I would never recommend this hostal to know a beatiful city like is Antwerp. Bye.
