My time in the Ash Hostel has been amazing! Here, you will be welcomed by the wonderful managers Fabian and John, and the rest of the team. As my first worldpacker's experience, i'm very grateful for being there and I would recommend this experience to anyone who is thinking about going to Belgium to work as a volunteer. I had the chance to travel to many places while I was working in the hostel and had plenty of time to do other stuff as well. The work is easy but can get frustrated some times. In overall, it's a great place to meet new people and everyone is always helpful and friendly!

I had an amazing time in Ash hostel, more than co-workers is a family team! About the Hostel it has an excellent location just 5 min walking to the train station and 20 to the city centrum. I definitely would come back on my next trip to Ash hostel. Moreover I would like to thank to Fabian and Jhon who were the best host! Always helping with some doubts and make you feel comfortable.
Don’t hesitate to be part of ASH hostel team, you will have a great time!!!!!

It was a good place to stay and I would do it again. Just due to the lack of volunteers (I guess) there was sometimes kinda a lot of work for one person at house keeping but it was ok nothing bad.

My experience at The ASH was great! The hostel infrastructure is impressive, the volunteers are amazing, the job is heavy sometimes, but it's doable and John and Fabian are really thoughtful with us. The only reason why I hesitated for a while to put five stars is because some people in the staff seem not to understand the concept of Worldpackers and expected us to work harder and harder, being rude and prejudiced with the volunteers. I had some problems in my first week (stay away of Martine =P), however John and Fabian managed it very well and soon I was felling like part of the family!

I had a really great time and an awesome experience while volunteering at the ASH!! In a few weeks u're gonna consider the other volunteers as members of ur family and u'll see urself doing everything with them. The staff was really amazing as well: Fabian and John were always helpful, Arlene was always sweet and kind and Rebecca despite being a little moody is a good person. At the begining u might get lost or nervous with the reception procedures, especially cause u'll learn almost everything from the other volunteers, but it worked out. Also, Antwerp is nice, but not for more then 2 months.
