The Exchange

Being a classroom assistant will give you the opportunity to deeply engage with a classroom and a teacher. This program will make you understand how life in one of our NDG school works. Volunteers will be paired with a class and aid one of our teachers in any way that is useful, whether it is to cut and glue paper into notebooks, handing out soap or toothpaste, helping kids with in-class worksheets, or homework, and a 30 minute English lesson.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Child Care: Help look after, educate and instruct children.

Teaching Sports: Teach or help guests or local communities practice a new sport.

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Dance classes: Take free dance classes at our place.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish

Over 18 years old
