The experience

This position includes helping us with general household tasks. It can also include decorating or making outside spaces nice. Occasionally you may help building stuff too.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Holistic Therapies: You can take part in any of our therapeutic activities for free.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Requirements

Beginner Portuguese or Beginner English

Over 18 years old

Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Our volunteer program is not a work agreement. We always try to use your own motivation as a driving force for work to be done. Your greatest recompense is to learn things and have a good time with a group of nice people.

Activities & Shift

We don't work in specific shifts. In general you can work at the hours you like, unless we are working together, than we specify a time in advance.
