The Exchange

We are a small team, so we communicate a lot so the hostel can be awesome for everyone. All volunteers are part of this team and family. Together we'll do our best so our guests have a great stay. The applicant must be available for all kind of activities: reception; preparing the beds, cleaning, and general help we need.


Title

30 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.


What you get

1 day off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Parties: Get discounts at nearby parties and clubs.

Discounts on Pubs: Get discounts at nearby pubs.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Intermediate English and Beginner Spanish

Program Details

We are looking for a packer who can help us out in reception and cleaning. That means warmly welcoming our guests, making them feel at home and solving any doubts they might have regarding the city. It's perfect if you are friendly and wants to meet people from all over the world!


Activities & Shift

* Check in/out, reservations, greeting and helping guests, general help when needed
*Help at breakfast and cleaning
* It says 5h shifts, but we all know there will be days that you need to do way more, or less. Our proposal is that if you really execute an amazing job and work.


Rules

Try out for 1 week, min stay 3 weeks, max stay 4 weeks.
Respecting the rules of the hostel as the guest also do.
