I was almost a month at the guest house, and my experience was pretty good there. Although the criticism in my stay, is that I consider that the staff of volunteers should have rooms apart from the guests, for reasons of hygiene and security of the belongings, the work is quite easy to do and few hours a day and that gives the opportunity to know this beautiful and historic Irish town, share with the local culture and its friendly people. PJ, the owner, is a kind and easy going person, and Jesse, the volunteer manager, is fantastic and will make your stay in the volunteer easier.

Cashel is a lovely town with lovely people, the work in the hostel is easy and you can learn something different everyday, enjoyed the pub life like never before, maybe I'll be back in the future, thanks for everything :)

I had an amazing time volunteering at the guest house! The people were amazing, the work itself was simple (it primarily consisted in housekeeping in the morning and reception/ironing in the afternoon) and the overall atmosphere was really great. Thank you for everything PJ and Jessie!

El ambiente del hostal es muy bueno, me sentí como en casa desde el primer día, las tareas son muy simples y la mayoría de los días requieren menos horas de trabajo de lo esperado. Además, el pueblo es muy agradable, es fácil salir a conocer y las personas son muy amigables. Sin duda un lugar ideal para conocer la cultura irlandesa y hacer amigos

Une première expérience de volontariat génial. Caroline, PJ et Sarah sont des personnes adorables. Les horaires de travail sont plutôt intéressante 3h le matin qui permet d'avoir l'après-midi de libre. Cashel est un petit village assez agréable et plusieurs bus y passe pour rejoindre Dublin, Limerick, Cork et Cahir mais les trajets sont assez long donc si vous comptez bouger loué une voiture serait plus intéressant. Bref une super expérience que je conseille.

Caroline es una persona organizada, activa, sociable y alegre. PJ es un hombre agradable, está siempre muy ocupado. Mi estancia con ellos fue buena, me sentí cómoda e integrada. Aprendí a realizar check in y check out, conocí personas locales que vivían allí por una estancia prolongada a raíz del Covid; lo que me permitió mejorar mi comprensión del idioma (a pesar de su acento) y practicarlo. Además de compartir con otros voluntarios tiempo de ocio. El pueblo es pequeño y tranquilo, si te gusta la naturaleza es un buen destino. Recomiendo la estancia!!!!

Gracias a todo el equipo del hostel ya que me he sentido querido en todo momento a Jessie que es una de las personas más buenas que he conocido en mi vida siempre atenta a todo y cuidando cada detalle explicándote cada cosa que hacías mal para mejorar y diciéndote cuando algo estaba bien con cada cosa que hacías bien PJ un gran hombre y que siempre tenía un buen gesto y te hacía sentir querido a TJ igual es de las mejores experiencias que tuve en mi vida y la despedida que me dieron con ese cariño la recordare toda la vida gracias al hostel de cashel por todo lo que me dieron y me ayudaron

Esta fue mi primera experiencia haciendo un voluntariado y creo que no podría haber ido mejor. Jessie es una persona muy trabajadora y siempre se preocupa por tu bienestar y de que haya buen ambiente en el hostel. Si no entiendes algo o cometes algún error te lo vuelve a explicar sin problema, porque lo que quiere es que aprendas. Por otra parte, las personas que coincidimos ahí formamos un bonito equipo, trabajábamos juntos y luego aprovechábamos los ratos libres para pasarla bien. Me fue genial para practicar el inglés y estoy segura de que repetiré! Os echo de menos :)

Minha estadia em Cashel foi muito agradável. O trabalho é super tranquilo, são 3 horas por dia ajudando a manter o local organizado, limpo e agradável para todos. O quadro de horário nos permite boas horas de descanso e lazer, e caso queira conhecer outros lugares, eles são sempre flexíveis. Jessie, a gerente do hostel é super gente boa, agradável, sempre presente e nos auxiliando. My stay at Cashel was very great. The job is very easy, 3 hours per day helping to keep the local clean and tidy for all. The work schedule is great and allows us time to rest
