Great place to meet people and have fun!
Work as housekeeping is not difficult, some days are more tiring than others, depending on the amount of check-out, the weekly hours are respected and the days off are consecutive, which allows us to travel to other cities.
We can do all the activities of the hostel for free (tour, escape room, pasta cooking class) and we still receive monthly credits to spend in the hostel's bar or restaurant.
For me, the only bad points were changing rooms every week and and have to use the wash machine of the apartment of the volunteers that was always being used

Recomendo!

My experience has MIXED feelings. I aply for reception, but they toll me that position was taken and i can work as a barman/barback. I said ok, but later the position was different than was telling in the page, 'cause a volunteer can't never be a BARMAN (in the words of one of the mannagers). Each month they give you Credits for the different meals that you can buy in the bar. If u know how to organice it, you can eat the whole month.Besides that, you will find that the volunteers and some staff form like a family, supporting each other and you will feel like home right from the first day.

It was my first experience volunteering and it couldn't have been better. The Yellow is an amazing place. As a volunteer you get to do all the activities of the hostel for free (Pasta cooking class, Gelato class, escape room, tours). I did them all and they were amazing. They also own a bar and a restaurant and you get credits to spend there. That means you'll be having a lot of fun and good drinks at the bar (which has a dance floor) and will be eating delicious Italian food.
As for the job, the amount of work is pretty fair. The staff is the best! Go and have the best time of your life!

This is a very fun and sociable hostel with a lot of events and activities every day. The Management did everything they could to make sure that all the staff was having a good time. The hostel is very clean and there's a really good, nice and cosy atmosphere amongst the volunteers. The position is perfect to visit Rome, near the center and about 500 m from Termini station. A big thanks for letting me help out at this amazing place!! :)
