Hours & Tasks

Learning & Fun

My period at Albergue de Lençois Backpackers was awesome. I met a lot of nice people, locals and travelers. I had also time to enjoy the historic city and its amazing surrounding nature.
The tasks were very easy, during my stay I worked in the 3 different shifts they have, I helped to keep the kitchen clean, changed the beds, took care of check in and check out, I was "warden" in the night shift to open the door for people arriving in the city and from the bars. I could also improve my english and french talking with guests. I strongly recommend this hostel to have a work exchange experience.

It was just great!! I really loved to have my first Worldpackers experience there.. the working hours and the people at the hostel are just fantastic. Totally recommend it!!

I'm glad to be accepted like a volunteer in this hostel. This experience was so important for me, because I learned more about how is the routine of the hostéis, I knew a lot of people and went to many beatiful places. I'm addicted in cultural exchanges and I think it couldn't be better!
Thanks a lot for all the flexibility, for the support. I wanted that more people could have this type of experience. Bye, hugs.

My time at albergue de Lençois was great. I had the opportunity to develope new skills thanks to the very nice staff that trusted me and supported me. I'd like to thank all of them for welcoming and helping me in every possible aspect. About the tasks, I can tell they are not heavy at all. The shift hours are more than fair so I had plenty of time to explore and fall in love with the Chapada Diamantina. Go and start everyday with a quite delicious and generous breakfast (thanks Lu ♡) and the chance a new adventure... You won't regreat!

Chapada Diamantina is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to. I've spent a month there but there are so many things that 2 or 3 months wouldn't be enough to do everything it offers. I've had a really great time working at the hostel, the job is easy but it requires attention. I've met so many great people from all over the world. Not mentioning the staff from the hostel which is super friendly and nice. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped and the breakfast prepared by Lu is delicious. I highly recommend it.
