Roberta ia a Nice person, the Job is cleaning and check ins. Very central place in rome.

My experience in Roma Tempus wasn't as I expected. The owner changed the rules every time so the work environment was always under pressure, which is unexpected for a volunteering experience. In the contrary, volunteering is supposed to be in a friendly environment, and this was't the case. In addition, volunteers were made to make the owner's personal staff, which I consider inappropiated, since these weren't tasks related with the hostel, and this was out of what had been agreed. As regards the hostel, it doesn't have social/fun activities. I didn't feel comfortable during my stay.

she is one of the group of 3 unreliable people that I already informed the worldpackers team, she left without even warning, you could even speak out if you had problems, and why do you tell me all this only now and here in the reviews? I have always kindly asked things and you answered yes, without any particular doubts or other. the fun activities are there, but for groups that do not speak ill behind and make you smile before you, I understood almost immediately how you three were, you just need to see all the other comments they have made, I with my volunteers who prove themselves honest I go to get ice cream together, we do excursions, I teach Italian, I teach how to cook Italian, I propose and get work, 1 time I even organized a volunteer's wedding! for the behavior you had I wish you all the best of luck, you will need it!

The rules were never clear, she changes them every day. The tasks are specified such as cleaning 5 bathrooms, 2 kitchens, walking the dog at 2 am, and when you finished all that, she expected you to stay without doing anything then invented tasks such as ordering her closet or for example cleaning the bars from the terrace with a sponge while it rains.
I didn't feel comfortable. I don't think it was a coincidence that the 5 volunteers we were having the same problems with her to the point of leaving the place. I definitely do not recommend it.

I have a vademecum of 6 sheets with the explanation of each volunteer shift translated into three languages, and no one has ever asked to clean in the rain, after the ordinary cleaning you are at the desk waiting for the guests to open the door and welcome them, the announcement it is clear, desk cleaning and help in the kitchen, for you cleaning a bathroom is emptying a basket, for the rest of the world is to take disinfectants and sanitize every health, cleaning is important to us, with this site I had the pleasure of get to know people with excellent skills, but people like you are included in your group too, surely many people have an idea of volunteering that is far from really wanting to help and do a good job. good luck, you'll need it!

It was my first experience in worldpackers, actually my first trip out of my country and from the beginning Roma Tempus staff was always willing to help even giving me more time, sometimes the work is hard but when you see the good advantages to be there it worth. It is located close to the main station of Roma, so it is close of all the place that you want to know in Rome, the neighborhood looks rude but being there couple days you realize that it is secure. Thanks Roberta, Anastacia, Isick and all others volunteer who were with me there, hope see you again.

we hope to see you again, thanks jeorge

RomaTempus is a place where I spent a really wonderful time, a made great friends that will be in my life forever, I went to the city center and nearby cities when I wanted during my free time and Roberta is full of good surprises... you know that nice feeling when you get home after a long trip? well it's the same I felt during my stay, she is sincere, kind, emphatic and trustful. The work is practically very easy and according to rules and shifts, so relax, it works as long as you like to contribute in a reciprocal way!
15 min walk to Coliseum!
No doubt that magic happens in Rome! Grazie!
