One day may be spent building the levy, another day might be spent hammering or using power tools, someday there's nothing to do at all. This is for backpackers that are ready to help manually/ physically and are looking to stay for longer than a week.

Program Details

This is the most committed position and designed for travelers looking for a long stay. We are building a small community of twenty foreign friends, if your desire is to live with us this is the position to prove yourself for long term stay. You will be hauling dirt and rocks and using a panga quite often.

Activities & Shift

Each day a boat must be filled with rocks or sand from up river. We use this material to protect against global warming and to ensure the old fruit trees remain intact, alive and healthy for years to come.

No cursing, bathing suits encouraged as it is hot here most days and nights are warm too!
