The Exchange

Willing to do basic work helping sweep barn & mucking, help with feed times, cleaning, organizing, possible grooming horses. We maintain a 6-day work week with consistent barn hours. Most days will consist of barn work for the first part of the day up to lunch with routine horse management. Evening feed is typically 1+ hour to complete. **MUST be able to get up at 6AM weekdays** NO night owls


25 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

What you get

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

Helping with basic chores and general clean up of the facility. Will teach about horses if you want to learn.

Activities & Shift

Early riser at 6am, out to feed at 630. You can breakfast before or after feed and chores. Plenty of down time to rest, relax, between morning and evening feeds. Sometimes work on projects between also. We give one full day off and most other days you are working part of the day and rest off, depending on projects. We schedule trips to go see the city and sightsee depending on our schedule. We are more like a family here.


Modest dress please. Work clothes, closed toe shoes/boots. Must follow the house rules we can send you the information on dress code and rules ahead of time if you prefer. NO alcohol or drugs on property and we ask that you not come here under the influence(drinking) or asked to leave immediately.
