The Experience

As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to work with me in Child Protection with the street kids named after Talibes. Talibes children are Koranic school children who are often forced to beg so as to have have lunch; breakfast and dinner. You will work also in a Community Garden where Talibe come to learn about farming but also learn Languages. You will volunteer to teach in schools; working in hospitals; Hosting an English Radio Show etc.

Additional Fee Required

In our culture, which is the senegalese one, we do not ask a guest or a foreigner to pay anything because it is part and parcel of our terangua (hospitality). You can give, however, a contribution (a gift of any kind but the volunteer is not obliged to do it).
