The Exchange

As a volunteer you will have the opportunity to work with me in Child Protection with the street kids named after Talibes. Talibes children are Koranic school children who are often forced to beg so as to have have lunch; breakfast and dinner. You will work also in a Community Garden where Talibe come to learn about farming but also learn Languages. You will volunteer to teach in schools; working in hospitals; Hosting an English Radio Show etc.


15 hours of help per week

Child Care: Help look after, educate and instruct children.

Teaching Sports: Teach or help guests or local communities practice a new sport.

Social Work: Help with volunteer work in local projects and communities.

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.

What you get

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Program Details

The Project consists of helping people everywhere mainly children; students; young people girls and women. The children in the project might be formal students or non formal students and we help them have a good education through Free English classes. We also do Service learning and Community Service by helping children of the community to find ways out for a brighter future.
We help women to have their words in the develpment of the community through trainings and Women Empowerment Activities. The project aims to help young girls to have an education by going to school and staying at school till University or beyond Universities. We trained the Talibes Children who are mainly street children to receive a formal education through Languages classes and outdoors activities.
The project also aims to help the community to have access to Medical Care through free medical checking
