That was a great experience! I really like it!
Sara, Cyda, Marcelo, Hugo are nice people! They helped me all the time that I needed it!
Sara always gave me a flexible schedule, with different days off!
Marcelo showed me the waterfall close to the hostel and we climbed the mountain!
And I loved to play chess with Hugo in the evening time (Ps* He always won!).

The place is a typical residential area, with neighbors, a marketplace on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a little square with everything you need.

Downtown is not far, you can get the bus at the square and then the subway. Or Uber.

What a nice and beautiful place to live and work. They are a family who lives besides the hostel, so everything you need they are there to help you. It was a not perfect moment to work there because of the virus crises that made the hole hostel be empty and with no guests it was not a complete experience, but besides that it was a safe and a flexible place to work with no hard work five hours a day just passed so fast.

Thanks so much for a good time together. I recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to visit Rio. You can discuss your working hours in advance to visit various attractions! ... Shops nearby, metro 3 km ~ 25 minutes on foot. Security in the region of 100% (police at each intersection), everywhere there are CCTV cameras. Once again, I thank the GRAJA HOSTEL team for a pleasant pastime. Hug together the whole team;)

I had the most greatest time at this Hostel! The staff were so lovely and all were great hosts. They gave me very clear instructions and were always available for me. My job was to help with maintainance, reception and cleaning. I also obtain some flexible schedule which was awesome, especially during the carnival. Would come back here anytime.
Best wishes!

My stay at Graja Hostel has been absolutely amazing. My host family, Cyda, Marcello, Rachel and Sara made me feel part of their family and I appreciate it so much.😍 Thank you for welcoming me into your home and making this experience one I will always remember. 🤗 The hostel is beautiful and I totally felt at home. 🏡. The bar on the weekends was a super treat especially the karaoke evenings. The tasks were simple and I enjoyed it. Sara, you are amazing!!! My fellow volunteers were fabulous and fun and I loved spending time with them. Highly recommended!!! OBRIGADO!!!
