I had a very good experience, I made several friends and was well received by the owners of the hostel, especially Jorge and Julio, who I consider friends as well.
The work was for me a good learning, receive guests, show the hostel, check in and check out. In addition to other simple tasks as kitchen hand and wash the dishes during breakfast, and collect the garbage and dry bathrooms. I really enjoyed the experience of working in a hostel, and I especially thank Julio, for teaching how to operate the computer system and other things of running a hostel. Now I want to work in other countries.
Dona Benedita e o lugar. Lol
I loved the time spent in Ubatuba, there are so many hikes, beaches and falls to visit. The hostel is in a central position, elegant, clean, has big spaces and the view is awesome. Julio is a nice person, he likes to be surrounded by international people and practice his English, but unfortunately the other owners don't really know what a hostel is, they don't accept people showing their personality in different ways, and they were always complaining about our (all the volunteers) cloths, way of talking or behaving with the guests. They said they don't accept volunteers anymore.
This host replied to 100% of the applications in January! Perfecto!
