Teaching at the Primary School in Uganda


The Exchange

The main project of Hope Children's Foundation is the education of children at kindergarten and primary school. Enthusiasm and commitment are the only requirements needed. Volunteers are guided by permanent teachers, and simple textbooks to follow are provided. Some of the subjects taught are: mathematics, English, literacy, science and religion. In order to improve the language skills of the students, every class is taught in English.


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Child Care: Help look after, educate and instruct children.

Teaching Sports: Teach or help guests or local communities practice a new sport.

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.
